Future of Denim

Well, after reading some trends about fashion I got inspired to create a casual outfit with simple things. As many spring 2012 collections are increasing the use of denim, I thought "why not applying some leather and denim in a way it doesn't hurt our eyes?"
"Why?", would someone say in a reply to my question. It's quite simple, over SL it's hard seeing leather and denim used as a daily outfit, instead it's much easier seeing master and slaves wearing sexy leather-ish stuff much more than in our RL. Browsing on market place I didn't find any good shorts/bermuda in leather, for instance. Not any type I could match with a blazer... perhaps I didn't search enough, and then might be wrong, or perhaps the only options are meant for the satisfaction of sexual pleasures?

Incredible visor/display/shades from Fairlight Industries

For this post not too much words. I've just noticed on how I've been focusing on white clothes and backgrounds. Perhaps it's a contrast for what I see inworld. Everybody is dark skinned and brunette. Why is this so? Loads of tattoos, strips of cloths, post-emo-but-still black emo hairs. Perhaps I'm just tired? Or perhaps I just don't want to think about anything? Or perhaps I'm in love? Oops, saying too much... LoL

What do we have in here to be so called an icebreaker... Let's see: Akeruka, GRAVES, some heavy industries (Tokugawa and Fairlight) and a part of a roleplay kit?

After the blizzard

Well, it seems the worst has already passed: the blizzard of stress that caused a turmoil in the fashion scene and the grid itself. Now it's time to slow down a little bit and start planning for the coming year or at least trying to find our path after the hell got frozen. What are you going to do? A list of dos and don'ts really helps? I'm not a very fan of enlisting goals, but perhaps those that require just a few baby steps are easier to lift up our confidence than dreaming about moving mountains or even continents.

How to turn a prince into a (cyber) punk!

Yeah! This is the first post about cyber fashion. Do you really think that in order to have a nice look you're going to find stuff only at known cyber shops? The answer is yes and no. Yes, because there you can find complete outfits, great apparel, body enhancements and the like. No, for it's quite possible mix things from "average" shops into a cyberlook. One just need to have a good eye and choose wisely which items are going to the mixer.
I was supposed to take the pictures at INSILICO, but unfortunately the sim doesn't have good shadows on the ground. And then I've just found another sim which I will have to explore soon: name is Cybercity.

Let this winter pass...

I know that so far there's not post about any cyber stuff. You might be curious. It will come, I assure you. But just arriving from a show and walking around a beautiful sim, I was tempted to show you some casual chic, as I'm not only made of coils and screws.

Why not, then, run out of the classic black and/or bring some light into darkness? By the way, these winter-ish sims are so beautiful to take pictures. Is this my only impression?

Vigilante

After being the cute boy on the last post, now it's time for something tougher - not that much, ok?
What happened these last few days is that I found a cool designer of beards and finally I got beards, goatees and stubbles of the same colour of my hairbase. With those facial hair in hand I visited many sims around the grid in order to find a nice urban one, not say punk alike. Piece of cake, right? Wrong! Perhaps I'm not in my lucky day or many sims are covered by globes or "ceilings" having poor shadows. Am also using Viewer 3 Beta (yesh, the same one I reviewed bad beforehand! well, not actually the same, it's an updated version though) for pictures. Oops I was talking about clothes, sims or viewers? Find it out next.

Does the winter have to be cold?

Well, it seems the snow is already falling over the grid. People are wearing more clothes. It's getting cold... or not! So instead of complaining about the temperatures, I went after an outfit that could give me freedom for sports, clubbing, hanging out not mentioning being sexy *chuckles*. This is the first time I got courage to wear mesh and leave my home not caring if people could see my clothes or not. Then I noticed that there are still loads of users of Phoenix, who - so far - cannot see these beautiful stuff I had. Talking about mesh, now I understand why one should be really careful before buying any, as the mesh objects aren't still that god smackingly glorious about fitting plus some still remind us SL 2007 a land full of squares and poor textures.
